Large and engineering-challenging design project of timber-extension to the country house for family with two small children. Our task was to create a modern interior of new premises and organically combine them with the space of an existing house.
Zoning is designed by alternating different types of flooring; doorways are highlighted in dark color. The living room with a large sofa is separated from the kitchen and dining room by a beautiful monumental fireplace. Further along the corridor we get into the game room for twin sons, where zones for study and developmental activities and the places for naps in the attic are organized. There is a gym behind the children's room. The main room of the extension is a cabinet for the father, this room also serves as a “music” room and library. Next to the office there is separate bathroom and dressing room. At the end of the extension, in the part adjoining the garage, a laundry room and a technical room for equipment are organized.
