This interior of a three-room apartment in the north of Moscow for a young man is an excellent example of a cozy minimalism. In this project we used several basic materials — wood in interesting combinations with concrete, marble and geometric designer tiles. Selected textures and color accents are unobtrusively repeated in different rooms.
We divided the apartment into a kitchen-living room, cabinet, bedroom, bathroom and two dressing rooms. From the hallway we get to the dining room, living room, and kitchen at the same time. We hid the “acute angle” of this room with the built-in library shelving in the color of the walls. In the cabinet there are a writing desk next to window and a soft sofa which can serve as a sleeping place for guests. The door to the private area — the bedroom with dressing room — is disguised in the canvas of wall panels.
The minimalist interior, complemented by elegant modern lamps, open shelves and decorative elements, according to the original idea, turned out to be restrained and solid.
